I live in a mid-rise downtown so I’m used to general city noise. But I’m in a one bedroom apt that shares my bedroom wall with the studio next door’s entire living space. My neighbor has a habit of having friends over and blasting bass-heavy music late at night during the week and I am up very early for work. Before anyone suggests headphones, the issue is the base which makes my wall vibrate. Due to the layout of the bedroom, this wall is the only one where a bed can go, so I’m constantly woke. Up by their voices and the shaking of my headboard.

I’ve brought this up to management a few times, including with recordings from my bed, but although they say they’ll handle, it’s pretty clear nothings been done. I don’t want to make things awkward with the neighbor, I just want her to keep it down so I can go to bed and stay asleep until 5am.

Anyone have any suggestions on the best way tk approach her myself? Not sure if going over there now at 11:30pm is the best move. I’m also a woman if that helps!
