Okay so I've written a book in bribooks named "THE THEORY OF MAPLE WOODS" and it's my first ever book I just wanted people to read my book so that I can see how it is. I know there's gonna be a lot of mistakes since english isn't my first language and I don't even know to write a book. I just wrote it as my summer hhw.Our sir had asked us to write only a short story but I got ahead of myself and wrote about 50-60 pages and the story is not complete. I'll have to write a 2nd volume but I don't know if I should.... I feel like my idea is good but I didn't execute it well.

A quick overview: we have an fl whose name is Meadow. She's a member of a research club in her college and as a part of their assignment they have to prove the theory of a famous scientist John Kennedy that in a place called Maple Woods if you place the black peonies that is the fav flower of Goddess of the forest then a portal to a new world will open.

Ok so this is going to be a very long post since I'll be finally letting out my frustration about my school

(English is not my first language so I apologize in advance for my mistakes)

So I'm very curious to know about different education systems from around the world. I'm from India and the education system here sucks really bad. We only have theory and equal to zero application (mostly) that it makes it harder for me to understand subjects like physics and chemistry that are better understood when done practically. Plus I'm not very fond of school I'm tired of teachers calling you out infront of the whole class bcz you're bad at a certain subject and I also don't like teachers announcing our marks to the whole class.

Teachers want to be treated as something very superior to us and we can't talk very openly to them. I guess this is mostly what happens in Asia. I'm in class 10th rn when we have to give our infamous board exams where you have to secure good marks bcz the results are released all over India and anybody can see it, be it a stranger, your neighbour your relative everybody is interested to know what's your score and if you score less then your teachers are also going to make fun of you in the school, telling your marks to the entire class. I've continuously heard that physical punishments have been banned from the schools but It's still happening in my school(although it's not that frequent). Here teachers are never ready to accept their mistake while there are teachers who'd openly own their mistakes there are also teachers who take it as a direct hit to their ego and gets angry whether it's about what they teach us or whatever.

They make us write a huge no. of things and that too in a proper way then we have to submit our copies to get it checked(since we also get marks on copy maintenance and completion of work) I remember submitting my physics copy and due to some reason I was absent on the day our copies had been distributed and when I came back I complaint to teacher that I can't find my physics copy, at first she tried to help me look for it but then blamed it on me that bcz I was absent that's why I lost my copy.

The same thing happened to me regarding my maths copy last year. They check our nails and hair regularly not even a single strand should be on your forehead but neatly combed and tied or clipped back. One teacher blackmailed us that she's going to thrash us if we're not in proper discipline and uniforms(as if such things are going to distract someone 🙄) and she literally taunted us saying that rn she's telling this in private but if we continue to be stubborn she'd thrash us right infront of the boys and we'd start crying( what a bitch of a teacher!!!) My english teacher continuously makes us write summaries of so many chapters without giving us a break and then expects us to write the question answer of all the chapters in a week all that when we already have other subjects to study and write. But I guess my life is still better than most students I'm not that burnt out bcz I don't have tuition or go to coaching. My parents are strict regarding my studies and my good marks are often overshadowed or overlooked upon bcz of bad marks but as time passes by my parents forget about it although my mother still taunts me about my maths marks whenever she gets the chance 😭😂. There are so many things I want to discuss but this post is already long enough so I'm ending it here.
