Norethindrone: My inner voice won't stop talking
So I started norethindrone birth control just over one month ago. I was wondering if anyone had this side effect and if it got better after the three month mark.
My brain will not SHUT UP. There is CONSTANTLY a song stuck in my head. If there's not a song playing, I'm thinking about something. The inner voice in my head is nonstop talking/playing music. I didn't feel like this before I started it and immediately noticed this side effect after I began taking it. I feel like my sleep quality hasn't been good either. I work a job where I have to multi task and I feel like my brain gets overwhelmed easier compared to before. I was so exhausted today that I accidentally overslept my alarm and was late for work, and was looking forward to a much needed nap when I got home. Well, here I am typing this out instead of sleeping because my brain won't SHUT UP.
