Which way to open ?
Hey there. I'm curious to see how it looks inside the filled crack of the stone. Should I just break it? Or would it be better to cut it in a particulat way and polish? Would it be worth the effort?
More inharmonic harmonics (again, but much better sound)
Very complex sound, try listening with earphones.
Cleaning ashes from that tube
The title describes the thing
More inharmonic harmonics
There is so much going on here, the microphone saturated and I didn't even hit the brass strongly. Mains 202 - 210Hz + 516 + 926. Extra harmonics 1400 + 1745 + 2578+ 3350 + 4025 Hz all at the same time bouncing back and forth.
Made an other bell
Some plumbers scrap makes a bell. 2672 Hz
Cleaning advise
Any advise on how to clean the rusty stain ? This formation has some iron-like veins as part of it, but I would like to make the crystals cleaner without destroying anything.
Inharmonic harmonics
This was part of a ballbearing. I cut the ring open and suspended it like a bell. It sounds like a gong mainly at 276 Hz and 609 Hz , + 1360 Hz which fades away quicker.
Handpolishing corundum
How long might it take to handpolish this ruby-corundum? I was thinking to use corundum sandpaper meant for wet polishing metals. It doesn't need to be perfect, I would like to smoothen the icy rough surface so the light goes through better.
Frequency match
This plumber spare part sounds like a bell at 2133 Hz, which happens to be the RAM frequency of some computers.
Digging up quartz
I keep finding clear quartz in my garden. Pictures here are from tilling the vegetable garden. Once I was digging deeper fixing the house foundations and dug up many sparcling clusters as big as my fist.
Notice the little violet pebble, it catched my eye. What might it be?
Quartzy layers rock from the beach
The rock is very hard like quartz, light shines through in all directions ,the middle layer looks more "milky" and the outer layers look more "quartzy"
