I recently purchased two Trackmix PoE cameras as well as a NVR RLN8-410 to record them. I wanted to constant recording so I went with PoE models. I have the NVR setup and I wired my cameras up through the wall and through the attic to the outside using a 100ft cat6 cable. I used the NVR to setup constant recording at all times and cleared the motion detection schedule. Looking at the live view of the cameras it looks crystal clear. However after a day, when I go look at the playback available from the Trackmix cameras on the NVR, it is only showing mostly 0-2 second sections and an occasional ~1 minute clip. Most of these sections won't play back and say playback failed. Occasionally the 1 minute segments will play a couple seconds worth and then freeze. I'm wondering if I missed some sort of setup step here to make it successfully record? Is this the wrong NVR for these cameras? Or is the recording feature just not functional on these things.
