That’s it. Ride ops type it into an iPad every 25 minutes or so. It’s not some high tech tracking technology in operation. So if you see a long line and a short time on the screen, they just haven’t updated it yet. And vice versa.

But question for anyone who’s been a ride op: do they give you any training about wait estimates? E.g. if the line stretches back to X point, type in X minutes wait time?
