Stage 2
Just had stage 2 on May 8th 2026 with Dr. Figler at UNC, which for me consisted of an anterior stricture repair, urethroplasty, urethral lengthening with metoidioplasty burial. Dr. Figler did my metoidioplasty and testicular implants, so I decided to go back to him for the reminding phallo surgeries. However, for stage 1 (just shaft creation) and stage 1.5 (just glansplasty), I went to Dr. Del Corral in MD. I currently have a foley catheter in for about 2 more weeks and after should finally be able to STP. Other than bladder spasms, I have been healing up pretty well, but figured I'd post here as I have had an untraditional journey to get to this point and don't encounter many posts talking about Dr. Figler and the UNC team. They have always been great as is the hospital staff and are a solid option if you are located in the south/NC.
