Am inheriting large amount and I’m young and a bit spendy so want to put most in my parents account to help me manage it.
But am I allowed to do that?
Is their a limit on what can send to family
I can show where care from etc
About 30 years ago my grandparents (father’s parents) sold their business and put into family trust.
The beneficiaries were/are my father, his brother and sister.
My father died some years ago, I’m his only child.
My grandparents have now both passed and my aunt and uncle are the trusties of the trust.
I’m aware a trust and a Wil are different and not connected but for sake of information my grandparents will was that everything divided equally among their three children and if one had passed then their third to their child/children.
If people have advice or gone though similar situation be helpful.
