I have a question for DIY enthusiasts or professional Jeep mechanics. My 2014 Jeep Rubicon started overheating due to a radiator leak about two minutes from my house, I managed to reach home, turned off the engine, and added water to the radiator. After that, it did not restart.
When I tried to start it there was a faint click sound. However, prior to this once in a blue moon, when I would tried to start the Jeep, there was a pause before it would start. Is it possible I could have damaged (frozen) the engine just from overheating, or could the starter be going out?
FYI: I recently spent about five grand having the cams, lifters, and all the seals replaced in the engine about two months ago.
