Updating schedule of loss

How would I go about updating my schedule of loss?

I've been able to mitigate some of my losses because I found a new job sooner than I thought I would, so I'd like to reduce my schedule of loss. I am not looking to increase it or add anything.

Is this allowed and if so, how would I do this? Would I upload it to the portal as an ET1 amendment or just as a document? (and of course copy the respondent as well)

Employment status dispute in the ET

Does anyone have experience with having an employment status dispute in the ET? I have spent a lot of time reading the law, guidance on gov.uk, reading past judgements etc but just interested to see how things have played out for others.

My contract was meant to be one of a 'self-employed independent contractor' but when I started the role, I very quickly realised it was identical in nature/reality to my previous roles which had all been employed jobs. I've taken into account the reality of the relationship and the legal tests of personal service, control and mutuality of obligation. I'm quite certain I have a solid argument for worker status at the very least, if not even employee status.

I can give more details if helpful, but wanted to focus more on others' experiences or advice.

ET3 extension - neutral response

If a claimant responds to an ET3 application for extension, do they have to oppose or can the response be neutral?

The respondent applied for the extension almost 3 weeks after the deadline. I'm not necessarily opposed to the extension but I'm honestly not sure I fully understand their justification and reason for missing the deadline. They have attached evidence to support their application but 2 out of 3 pieces of their evidence haven't been explained or referenced, and on the surface actually seem contradictory to their explanation.

Am I allowed (or is it useful) to respond and say I don't oppose the extension, but want further clarification on the justification? The respondents have asked that the application be 'granted on the papers' but I would rather it be decided once further clarification has been received, whether on the papers or at a hearing.

My case is within the jurisdiction of England & Wales.
