High Stakes Poker is coming back on PokerGo and it got me thinking about lineups - I know the highest level poker is cool, but six elite regs battling usually isn’t the most watchable thing in the world.

Give me a couple crushers, one whale, one celebrity/businessman, one old school guy, and someone capable of punting off a house on the river

Maybe throw in a former NBA player just for good measure haha

been looking at the 3bet club stuff and honestly the part that seems most underrated isn’t even the headline rewards stuff

it’s the private dc community, launch week has a $1,000 tickets giveaway for verified members, and if they keep doing ticket drops, early info etc., that could end up being a pretty big part of the value

feels like the kind of thing that doesn’t get promoted enough because everyone only talks about rakeback/boosts/discounts.

obv depends if they actually keep it active after launch week, but if the private community keeps getting giveaways and useful updates, it might be a bit of a cheat code for people already playing there...

saw one of the online sites launched some paid “club” thing with rewards boosts/tourney discounts/priority support etc

my first reaction was obviously lol, paying a poker site a monthly fee on top of rake is kind of insane

but then again if you actually grind volume and the math works, i guess it’s just another form of rakeback?

has anyone here ever paid for one of these site membership/vip things and actually felt like it was worth it, or is it always just dressed up rakeback with extra steps

Saw the GOPC trailer from CoinPoker and the event looks pretty wild tbh.

They’re talking about a $50M GTD series with different regions, medals, buy-in tiers etc. I’m not even sure how a site calculates something like that.

Is this mostly just expected satellite volume + regular MTT traffic, or are sites basically willing to take a big overlay hit to make a new series look huge?

Genuine question because $50M GTD for an online series feels like a massive number - does anybody know how these guarantees are actually planned?

Hey, ich bin seit knapp drei Monaten in Mannheim und struggle ein bisschen damit, gute Partys zu finden.

Jedes WE hab ich dieselbe Frage und weiß nicht so richtig wo ich hingehen soll außer immer in denselben club.

Rausgegangen habe ich probiert, aber da finde ich meistens nur wenige Partys und oft nichts, was mich wirklich anspricht.

Hat irgendjemand tipps, wie man in Mannheim gute Partys findet? Clubs, Partygruppen, Apps, irgendwas?

Bin relativ offen, gerne Club, Bar, Techno, Hip-Hop, House oder kleinere events.
