5ers banned me on payout request #7 after approving my trades 6 times

I was with 5ers for over a year. completed 12 challenges, got 6 payouts ( approx $6k total) with zero issues. same exact trading approach the entire time.

When I requested payout #7. two days later, account terminated. reason: "disproportionate concentrated exposure" and "structural disconnect" in my risk model. essentially, i used larger lot sizes on gold to pass the evaluation, then scaled down significantly once i got live capital.

Here's the problem, that's literally what traders are supposed to do. Scale down risk when moving from demo to real money. it's trading 101.

Their own help center faq flag the opposite pattern (small lots in eval, then oversized lots once funded) as the violation. i did the opposite and got banned for it.

Even when I appealed never got any clear reasoning for the ban. As they have no specific rule that states I can not downsize my risk.

Sudden ban right at payout time, canned appeal responses, communication shutdown, no written rule cited, refusal to investigate, is it compliance? LOL! It definitely looks like a firm that can't afford to pay out.

Is the intraday dd a trap for traders?

I been comparing daily payout options across TPT , Lucid, Funded next. All 3 seems legit but i keep hitting the same wall: intraday vs end of day trailing drawdown. All three needs you to build buffer for payout.

But FN has EOD drawdown while TPT and Lucid has Intraday. The other difference is in the payout caps. So, I am wondering if the Intraday trailing is the catch or not and what do I need to be careful of here?
