I've came up with a theory i saw nowhere else on internet. tell me what you think PS : im new to the star wars deep lore

The Failed Prophecy Theory

Anakin is indeed the Chosen One, destined to fulfill the prophecy of restoring balance to the Force. However, in this theory, restoring balance does not carry the same meaning the Jedi believed it did. To truly restore balance, it was not the Sith who needed to be destroyed but the Jedi themselves.

Why? Because the Jedi had dominated the galaxy for millennia, pushing the Sith aside and seeking to destroy them. Furthermore, the Jedi overestimated themselves and proved visibly weak and blind in the face of Palpatine, which demonstrates their fundamental ineffectiveness. The Sith, on the other hand, are not “evil” they simply hold a different vision of the Force, one in which it must be exploited to its full potential, at its absolute peak of power. To restore balance, the Jedi had to be destroyed to make room for the Sith to compensate that millennia of years dominated by the Jedi.

Anakin becoming Darth Vader is therefore entirely logical as it's the first step to fulfill the prophecy. This is also why he is the “perfect Sith”: a tremendous ego, great ambitions, and undeniable talent. All of these characteristics appear as early as his childhood in The Phantom Menace. However, his love for Padmé and his attachment to Obi-Wan illuminate his heart and keep him fundamentally pure.

In Episode VI, the prophecy is on the verge of being fulfilled. Luke Skywalker the last hope for the Jedi is about to die. Darth Vader is meant to let it happen and complete the prophecy. But Anakin is too pure to see it through, and so he kills Palpatine instead.

The balance is therefore never truly restored.
