I had been searching for a used pvs14 set and I found a used one for $1500 and talked him down to $1300 I just don’t if I over paid. I took a gamble and decided on buying it without knowing a spec sheet or anything really much more about it, All I know about the device is it was a gen3 refurbished has small blemishes but other than that it looks amazing to me. Everything works as it should
Besides the manual gain it has the knob I just don’t know how to get that to work if anyone has any pointers. Also I believe it’s autogated because it dims it self.

Hello I’m very new to analog NV and I know nothing about this setup. Is it decent for the price ? Or should I just stay away from it? The more I look at night vision the more I think about how that price is too good to be true lol.
