Queenstown Tramping

Hey All! Hope your all doing well, me and a couple mates (3) were thinking of doing the Kepler Track up-to the Luxmore Hut and back down around late June. We’ve tried using ChatGPT to help plan our hike but being honest - it’s kinda crap. Would anybody recommend any 2 ~ ish day hikes up to any huts? Fitness isn’t really an issue but more safety. Let me know your experiences and all. Cheers!

From your guys’s personal/professional opinion, what great walks would you recommend during the winter season? Me and a couple mates are planning a tramp, ideally one with an alpine hut, but can’t seem to find any suitable tracks that are somewhat safe to do during the winter time. Cheers!

Hey lads, hope you’re all doing well. me and a couple mates (3) were trying to plan a trip to Queenstown but we’re running into quite a bit of trouble. We’re planning to go during university holidays and leaving sometime around late June. Ideally we wanna do a bit of alpine hiking and hopefully get the chance to stay in a hut. While it sounds easy on paper it’s a mess trying to find a track suitable in the winter season, and before you say ChatGPT or Google. I’ve tried. That’s why i’ve decided to come to trust reddit. Any tips? (ideally a 2-3 day max hike) Cheers!
