In search of a good hybrid inverter for 15kw system.
Any suggestions with PRICE.
Salam everyone,
I’m planning a solar setup for my house and would really appreciate some guidance from people with real experience.
My load includes:
3–4 inverter ACs (1.5 ton)
2 fridges
Microwave, fans, lights, etc
Occasionally electric stove
Right now, due to budget constraints, I’m thinking of installing:
15kW hybrid inverter
Starting with ~7kW panels
Then expanding to 14–15kW panels next year
Battery I will not install immediately, but planning to add lithium battery later (10–15 kWh).
My questions:
Which 15kW hybrid inverter is best for:
Future panel expansion
Smooth lithium battery integration later
Good after-sales in Pakistan
I’m considering brands like:
GoodWe
Fox ESS
Solis
Growatt
→ Any real-world feedback on these?
For lithium battery later:
Which brands are reliable? (Dyness, Pylontech, etc.)
Any compatibility issues I should be aware of?
Is it okay to start with 7kW panels on a 15kW inverter? Any downsides?
Anything you wish you knew before installing hybrid systems in Pakistan?
Would really appreciate honest feedback, especially from people already using similar setups 🙏
recently got a quotation for a 10kW hybrid solar system with the following details:
Solar Panels: 645W panels (approx. 26 panels total)
Inverter: 10kW Hybrid (Lux Power)
Battery: 10kWh Lithium (Nippon)
Structure: Included
Wiring & Protections: Included (DC/AC wiring, DB, breakers)
Installation & Labor: Included
💰 Total Cost: ~1,824,000 PKR
🏠 My Home Load:
2–3 × 1.5 ton inverter ACs
8–9 fans
1 refrigerator
20–30 LED lights
Iron (press)
Microwave
Other small appliances
❓ What I Need Help With:
Is this price fair for this setup in Pakistan right now?
Is Nippon lithium battery reliable or should I go for a better brand?
Is Lux Power inverter a good option or should I upgrade (e.g., GoodWe/Sungrow)?
Should I install the system without battery first and add it later?
Anything else I should be careful about before finalizing?
🤔 My Thoughts:
645W panels seem like a good option
Not fully confident about the battery brand
Overall price feels slightly on the higher side
🙏 Looking for advice from:

Installers / engineers
Anyone using similar systems
