High CPC/CPM (meta ADS) in the USA womens fashion market
What's up guys,
I recently started a US-focused, women, fashion dropshipping store, and since the beginning I've been struggling with relatively high CPC's and CPM's on Meta. I'm targeting around 45-65+ years.
I'm currently trying to figure out where the problem is coming from and would love to hear from people who are actively running Meta ads in the US fashion space. Maybe someone here has some tips or is willing to share how they approach testing.
I've already worked quite a bit on my CVR, and that has improved.

Right now, my biggest concern is traffic costs. I'm running two ad accounts. Both are agency accounts from the same agency.
Ad Account 1, 29 ads tested
Average CTR: 3.82%
Average CPC: €2.60
Average CPM: ~€84
Ad Account 2, 26 ads tested
Average CTR: 3.34%
Average CPC: €4.35
Average CPM: ~€94
I do have some sales, some sales with multiple items. But i can't get a single product to scale or even get more sales then 2....
My campaigns are launched with:
Broad targeting, Entire United States, €50.77/day starting budget
Products are mainly sourced through product research on larger competitors, usually products where competitors are already running, 75+ active ads
The CTR doesn't seem terrible to me, but the CPMs and especially the CPCs feel extremely high.
At this point I'm wondering whether my biggest problem is product selection, creatives, or the way I'm testing.
For those of you successfully testing fashion products in the US:
What does your product research + creative testing workflow look like?
How do you decide:
- Which products are actually worth testing?
- What creative angles to start with?
- How many creatives to test per product?
- When to kill a product vs. when to test new creatives?
- What CTR/CPC/CPM ranges are you currently seeing with broad targeting in the US?
Also some general questions:
- I would also love to hear if there is something about the ATC cart, how can i get this up? Are there specific trust points you place on the website
- How do you make your creatives, ad copy's? I have Higgsfield, Claude and Gemini. I mainly use Higgsfield for images, but i find this very time consuming.
- Do you also Run Google Ads?
