Sale of car before filing

I’m planning to file chapter 7 soon and about 6 months ago I sold my car to a family member and I’m concerned it could be a problem.

I received some disability backpay of about $10k that I used to payoff my $8.5k car loan which I then immediately sold to a family member for $9k which is the fair market value. I have records to support all of this. I don’t have a car at all anymore.

Can this be a problem when filing chapter 7? I don’t have enough income to pay that money back if the trustee wants me to and I also don’t want them having to involve my family member.

Concerned about bank balance

Hi everyone I’m planning on filing chapter 7 pro se in the next few days and things I see on here have me concerned about my bank balance when filing. I’m filing myself and have no assets neither does my non filing spouse. When I file our bank account will have about $3000 of his disability income since he’ll have just had it deposited for the month. I see suggestions to get the balance down but we really need this money through out the month for expenses and can’t just spend it down to show a lower bank balance. Should I really be concerned and wait until the end of the month? I’m hoping to just get this started and over with as soon as possible. This is in California. Sorry about the wall of text
