AT&T D2D salespeople in Townewest @ 7:30 PM on a Monday
what gives? 7:30pm. trying to unwind after a long day and get a surprise bang on my door, poor dog is all worked up…
oh look…it’s the AT&T salespeople my wife said stopped by already while i was out and told we weren’t interested...sure wonder what this is gonna be about… (why do we do this?)
comments right off the bat had me even more irritated:
at&t rep: “oh hey, are you the husband?”
not even some bs “hElLo siR wE’Re wItH AT&T” nope just presumptuous, rude attitude. i let him keep talking mostly just because i was so taken aback by the approach…i had just put on pants ffs
“…we spoke with your wife earlier”, nope already dude you’ve pissed me off. my wife is perfectly capable of speaking for this household without me present. get bent
“…she said she didn’t know anything about your current fiber plan” yup right there is where i probably should have asked for a name and supervisor, but it’s been a long day. dead lie to my face, she’s damn well aware and i’m positive she told you when you tried this house earlier today.
not sure if a scam or actually AT&T but either way it’s equally as scummy and obnoxious.
complaining on reddit will solve little, but the experience soured my mood so heavily that i needed to vent lol. let a man play some Pikmin in peace…
