I submitted new photos to my co-host to replace some photos due to furniture changes. How long would a professional amount of time be for them to update them? From what I understand, new photos can be seen within 30 minutes and at the latest 24 hrs.
I have a 1300 sq foot cabin that can accommodate up to 5 people. New PM listed as a couples cabin. Isn’t this limiting searches and basically overlooking more potential bookings?? There is technically one bedroom and full bath with an additional 1/2 bath. I do have 2 pullout sofas. What’s the purpose of having these extra sleeping areas if it’s not going to be advertised?
I started with a new property management company two months ago. Initially I thought it was a great fit. Slowly, I’m not getting that feeling. The hired a revenue manager and my nightly rates are not what I thought they would be. I was originally with Evolve and they would drop my rates to generate bookings crazy low. Changing to a fulltime property management company was and always is like starting alllll over again. This company has properties with the same square footage or smaller than mine but are getting higher nightly rates. Is it normal to lower nightly rates for a new property to get it going? I’m trying to be patient and not rock the boat.
I was looking at my calendar for my property management company and found fall-Christmas blocked. I asked why and they said so that people couldn’t book with the discount during that time frame and it would be opened up as it got closer. I said but some people, most like me, need to book ahead so they can put in for time off, make schedule changes etc, and if they see a property not open for booking, they will just move on to the next one. Am I missing something here?? I don’t understand this.
