standard wfh footrests are a complete scam man

I kicked that black memory foam cushion away because it flattened into paper after a single week. My legs were going totally numb sitting here. I shoved this angled board down here instead just to force my calves to stretch. The silicone actually massages my arches so it works for bare feet. Trying to fix this posture stuff never ends.

Foam footrests are too squishy. Anyone use an angled board under the desk?

WFH means barefoot or socks all day for me, but my legs still get super stiff by the afternoon anyway. I tried that standard black memory foam cushion. You can see it kicked over to the right in the pic. It just flattens out completely.

I recently swapped it for this solid wood angled board. I wanted to keep my ankles moving during long Zoom calls. The top part actually sold me. It has a soft liquid silicone surface with little bumps. It basically feels like a constant and gentle foot massage while I type away at my desk, which is honestly way better than resting my feet on bare wood or some rough grip tape.

Those of you sitting 8 plus hours a day, do you prefer flat cushions or angled boards? Curious if leaving my feet angled like this all day is fine or if I need to mix it up.
