Worrying timeline ? 6 months since submission.
ITA: November 28th (French draw, outland)
AOR: December 16th
BIL: January 22nd, submitted on the 26th and eligibility went "in progress" same day.
April 24th: Eligibility suddenly went from not started to completed. Background still in progress.
At this point I had figured from my observations on this subreddit and Facebook groups that when eligibility is finished at a later stage usually the final decision is quick to follow in the next couple of days. However it has now been well over a month and I have no update. I know my offices are Sydney and Ottawa.
I'm coming up on 6 months since submission and I know next is uncharted territory could be many more months before I get an update. I'm worried my application is stuck in security forever. I have ordered GCMS notes 2 weeks ago and waiting to receive them.
At this point I just need any answer, this limbo phase is unbearable.
