Before you buy Manscape products Read about my experience

Hey guys, making this post because I’m officially done with Manscaped and wanted to give you a heads up if you're looking at buying one.

Long story short do NOT waste your money. They spend everything on marketing and ads to hype up garbage products. If you search for trimmers on Google, they are always pushed to the front, but the quality just isn't there.

Here is my experience after owning two different models and three total devices:

The "SkinSafe" blades are a complete lie. There are countless posts online about people getting cut, and I can 100% attest to that. Their "tech" isn't even a good guard anyway. All it is is a recessed blade that is pushed back to try and stop you from getting nicked. But you still get nicked anyway, and because the blade is recessed, it doesn't even allow for a nice clean cut. I cut my nuts every single time I trim, and it cuts me under my chin every single time too, no matter how slow or careful I go.

On top of that, the batteries are awful. I had the 2.0 during high school. It worked for about two years and then completely stopped holding a charge. I literally had to trim with the cord plugged into the wall, and sometimes I had to stop mid-shave just to let the battery build up enough juice to finish.

I got tired of that and bought the 3.0. It cost almost $100 CAD shipped to my house, and all you get is the razor and a shitty plastic guard with two terrible length settings. After just 4 months, the battery completely died on me again.

When I called customer service, they instantly sent me a replacement without any hassle. I honestly feel like they do that just for customer satisfaction to retain people and keep them from complaining. But how many times can you do that and honestly expect me to keep wanting to use your garbage quality products?

I kept the old one with the bad battery and used the new replacement one they sent me. I've been using it for about 8 months now, and this one is already having the exact same charging problems. Plus, the trims are super uneven now and my hair looks patchy.

They also try to force you into a subscription to buy new blades every 3 months, which is just a scam to get more money out of you.

I fell for the marketing trap and it honestly enrages me that I spent my hard-earned money on something that can't even last 8 months. If you’re a hairy guy like me and shave 1-2 times a week, stay away from them.

I ended up buying a 6-in-1 trimmer from The Beard Struggle for around the same price. It comes with a titanium blade, 17 length settings, a body trimmer, nose trimmer, and a foil shaver. It hasn't arrived in the mail yet so I don't know how it performs, but value-wise it already blows Manscaped out of the water. If any of you have this one let me know your experience with it so far.

Do some research and BUY LITTERALY anything else. Don't give Manscaped another dollar.
