My neighborhood has a serious issue with two polite indie dogs who do nothing but sleep.

Hey everyone, just need to vent about the absolute lack of empathy in my neighborhood.
For some context, two Indie street dogs have made my house their daytime hangout spot. They come over every single morning, chill out on my property, sleep all day, and leave by themselves in the evening. They don’t bark, they don’t chase anyone, and they don't even ask for food. They literally just treat my place like a safe safe zone to get some peaceful sleep, and then they mind their own business.
You would think people would appreciate having such quiet, well-behaved community dogs around, right?
Even when these dogs are just peacefully walking down the street in the evening to go back to their usual night spot, my neighbors have a massive problem. They aren't doing anything wrong—just walking on a public street—and people will aggressively "shoo" them, yell at them, or treat them like a threat.
It infuriates me because these dogs cause absolutely zero trouble.
I’m glad my house can be a safe haven for them during the day, but I’m so tired of the constant, unnecessary hostility from the people living around me.
Has anyone else dealt with neighbors like this? How do you handle the urge to yell at people who won't leave peaceful stray dogs alone?
