NMIXX & SQU4D cooking for something?
Saw a post in X and I thought the same way too that maybe SQU4D is hinting for a winter comeback. I know this is way too early but knowing how SQU4D handles NMIXX, they leave crumbs and hints to their lore and activities.
The snow falling at the end in the MV can be interpreted in many ways, but it can be a hint to their next EP/Album. Like how they hinted at the end in Party O’Clock M/V at 3:09 the ship of O.O, then they released Soñar (Breaker) proving they never left their sound and lore, and when they released Dash, at 2:46 the famous "Hey you bastards, I'm still here," a clapback to haters. They definitely aware what the people are saying but still decided to continue the lore and the artistic vision.
Also, a X comment pointed out that in Heavy Serenade MV teaser at 0:45 Lily sang extra line that is not in the song at all. It can be just for the teaser or is SQU4D hinting for their future song/s? NMIXX EP and album covers for the past 5 comebacks have never left the shade of blue palettes like you can easily distinguish it's from NMIXX cause they all look the same. From FE304 up to Blue Valentine the covers have glasses as symbolisms, it might be pertaining to this EP cause this Heavy Serenade has a lot of glasses. For the past 5 comebacks, NMIXX has been consistent of breaking the glass which in Heavy Serenade lyrics- "Break myself apart to make a one-and-only bouquet, Glassy serenade even if I'm clumsy, so what?"
Lore wise they arrived in MIXXTOPIA and cultivated the barren land, sonically NMIXX has successfully blended mixxpop that is public friendly but at the same time Heavy Serenade depicts love for Nswers for not giving up to NMIXX ever since. Thus, I freaking love SQU4D for how they connect everything.
Tbh, I won't dwell much on this if it's from another group but SQU4D is so good with this comeback (poster with musical sheet revealing the melody & the game) that I have trust issues of NMIXX content lol.
