I’ve been seeing a lot of brief-and-recruit style UGC platforms popping up lately, especially targeting nano creators (1k–10k followers) in the beauty, lifestyle, and food niches.

A lot of them seem to offer a baseline of around $10 USD per video upload, and maybe $30–$50 USD for Amazon Storefront clips.

I wanted to open up a discussion and see what everyone genuinely thinks about these platform rates:

1. Is a $10 baseline ever worth it? As a nano-creator, does $10 for 1 TikTok video feel worth your time and effort, or is it an automatic skip for you?
2. How has your experience been with brand briefs on these types of platforms? Are the guidelines usually easy to follow, or do they ask for way too much relative to the low payout?
3. Can this be a viable side hustle? If someone could consistently land 5–10 of these mini-campaigns a month and make an extra $300–$500 USD, is that considered a decent side gig, or is it still majorly underpaid?
