As the title suggests, I'm currently about to be a senior in a biology major (specialization in cell/molecular biology and genetics). I've been looking into what I'm going to be doing post-grad and was thinking of going for MLT at a community college or MLS.

I would need to take some courses at my community college since I found out about this career path recently and won't be able to get prerequisites such as physiology before I graduate.

Reading around I definitely would prefer MLS, however, the program around me would be at MGH in boston (4+1) and I feel like at a hospital like MGH and location like boston my low GPA (~2.9-3.0 science gpa?) will put me out of consideration..

My community college has MLT as a program and seems like that would be a less competitive (but I will need more courses to qualify for MLT than MLS based on research..)

Should I just do MLT? is it feasible to do MLT and then later down the line do MLS? any other career suggestions out there?

To add I'm from here and wouldn't need to worry about things like rent, etc while picking up some extra classes or certifications :) which is a plus and gives me greater flexibility.

Thank you in advance for any suggestions!

No hate to the openers but I would rather use that time to study and just see zara. On insta it said doors open 7-8 but does that mean they won't let anyone in after 8?

I understand these are different topics - but I'm looking into what I want to do post grad and some things have requirements like "human physiology" or "anatomy and physiology", would this just be systems phys (BI 315) ??
