Free website to find and post residency swaps!
Hey r/ResidencySwap,
I wanted to share a site I've been working on called Signout that makes it easier to find and post residency swaps and open positions.
The current swap sites (cough cough residentswap) are expensive and outdated, my goal with Signout was to make a 100% free, simple, modern website to try and make this crappy process a little easier for everyone.
It's easy to search for exactly what you're looking for and where you want to go, and making a swap post lets you get notified automatically by email if anyone posts one that matches! plus i regularly pull from all the public boards for open residency positions, so you can check those out while you're there!
it's pretty small right now, but if you just post your swap, you can set it and forget about it, and if anyone who matches ever posts, you'll find out automatically! There's no reason not to!
Also, because I know stuff like this is suspicious, cards on the table. I'm a CS junior who has been given free rein to restart Signout (it was a defunct swap site) and am currently building this purely for the experience of trying to solve a problem for real users. This website makes zero money, so my only motivation is helping you guys as much as possible.
