Why do no lower back 'stretches' actually stretch the muscles in the lower back?

Is anybody else doing this stretch for lower back where they bring their opposite heel into their palm and push down into their hand with their heel while also pulling up on the heel? this is the only thing that has ever actively stretched the lower back muscles and brought lasting relief to my back pain. I use my other hand to hold onto a table or something to stabilise myself while doing this

idk why i have never come across this stretch online or in youtube videos.

i also have been stretching the 'side muscles' of my lower back by lying on a bed on my left side, crossing my legs and using my right foot to hook under my left foot to pull to the ceiling and my left foot will push against this which gives me instant relief

these are the only things that have helped me, nothing my physio made me do actually stretched the muscles in the lower back
