Trust the process
I got a pixel a little over a month ago. At first the battery life would only last a few hrs, and which was super disappointing given that it was one of the biggest things I upgraded for. I looked on similar reddit communities and someone told me to just wait for the software to adjust.
Boy am I glad I stuck with it. I've been getting this battery life for about the past week and the difference is crazy. It's currently 715pm same day and I'm still at 20 percent. Going to the gym tonight and gonna see how long I can get it to last but all day battery.
Power saving at 20 percent no recharging throughout the day, max resolution, adaptive refresh rate on. No major alterations. I could probably squeeze out way more with battery saver on, reduced brightness, or any other usual changes people make. I'm happy with the battery life as is though, as I still get all the features running at full tilt.
I trusted the process and was genkirkuinley rewarded. Hallelujah.
EDIT TO ADD: 6 percent at 1015 🙏
EDIT 2: For those asking what changes I've made
Pixel 10 Pro Xl
Stop wifi and Bluetooth location pinging. I believe this was in one of the recent pixel update bugs in like march/April. Drains your battery super fast.
I also throttled wifi scanning( found in developer settings) cause why would I need to it look for WiFi all the time while I'm out? Same with always having data active, cause your phone auto switches to data if it's faster than your wifi.
You should notice a difference pretty quickly. If you've had your phone for over a month the software should already know your patterns I think, so it should be almost immediate. Otherwise give it time.
Lmk if this helps!
