MSR Elixir or Marmot Tungsten?
Im looking to buy a 1 person tent for shorter distance backpacking and some bike packing and I’ve narrowed it down to these two. What has me struggling to decide between the two is durability, I’ve seen a lot of posts on here of people complaining about the durability of MSR tent poles. Are MSR poles actually that bad or were they just defective or something for a while? Are they any stronger/weaker than the tungsten? The other thing Im wondering is if the tungsten works well with a fast fly setup?
