Advice for flying?
Hey all, I have eustachian tube dysfunction as well as chronic tinnitus. In the past I had barotrauma from a flight that was incredibly painful. Since then I had tubes put in for flights and have had no issues.
Unfortunately I don't have time to get tubes put in for this flight and I'm nervous. It's a smaller plane for a shorter flight as well (which are worse for pressure).
Any advice that helps prevent the pain? Do filtered earplugs actually work? Just chewing and massaging my ears didn't help the first time. Any tricks and advice is appreciated!
