New Northern BTS owner
My daughter just purchased a 2 year old Northern BTS. She has had for 3 weeks and she is still figuring out some of the personalty traits of him. He just started laying in the same spot below his basking spot for a few days now and not moving much at all. We are use to him being pretty active. Since she is so new at this she was wondering if this is normal. I helped her research and said it can be normal, or it can be constipation, over fed. His habitat looks great with the cold side around 80 and the basking side around 100 with humidity around 40-45. She has been doing a good job of feeding him mixed diet of veggies, insects, protein etc sprinkling on multivitamin with d3. New water every morning. For veteran skink owners is this normal? We offered him some pumpkin puree yesterday and he ate some but just doesn't move around a lot like the first 3 weeks she had him. Any insight would help. Thanks.
