Can I just say how much I love this sub?

This sub is one of my favorite little corners of the internet. The people who post and comment are generally so nice and, ironically given the name of the sub, there’s rarely any actual drama here. It seems like we’re mostly just a bunch of friendly nerds with the same special interest who genuinely want to help each other find more beautiful or funny or cozy or distracting period dramas to watch, and snark/laugh with each other over the same silly moments or inaccuracies/anachronisms.

So I’d like to give a big hearty THANK YOU to all the members and mods who help make this subreddit such a delightful place to visit.

And, to ensure that this post isn’t *too* off topic, I’ll end it by saying that I’m currently reading “The Tenant of Wildfell Hall” by Anne Brontë for the first time, and I can’t wait to finish it partly because of how much I’m looking forward to watching the miniseries adaptation with Toby Stephens and Tara Fitzgerald. I’ve seen a number of people recommend that adaptation and it sounds like it will be a good and faithful one.

Edit: thank you to whoever gave this post my first ever award. ☺️
