Planning a SoloTravel Eurotrip

Hey guys, I´m M25 and want to do a solo travel.

I’m planning an epic eurotrip for a couple of months and honestly I want to skip the common checklist tourism. I'm going to hit some museums but I really want unique and fun experiences that actually make me feel the vibe of each country.

To give you an idea of what I'm looking for... in Germany I don't just want to see the Neuschwanstein castle, I want to do the hike to see it from the mountain. In Munich I want to jump into the Eisbachwelle river current with other locals instead of just doing museums, or drive in the nurburgring. In Budapest I want to go to the thermal baths early to see the vibe, a partyboat in Croatia, or a bullring in Pamplona.

I want to know from your experience what else should I add, big or small. I want to look back and remember those wild things.

The countries and cities I have in mind are:

Portugal (Lisbon, Sintra)

Spain (Madrid, Pamplona)

Netherlands (Amsterdam, Zaanse Schans)

Germany (Berlin, Munich)

Czech Republic (Prague)

Poland (Warsaw)

Hungary (Budapest)

Slovenia (Bled, Ljubljana, Piran)

Croatia (Rovinj, Split, Dubrovnik)

Bosnia (Mostar)

Montenegro (Kotor)

I'm super flexible to change the route if you guys recommend a hidden gem in other city or country. I'm down for anything like hikes, cliff jumping, sleeping in weird places or doing things that feel illegal but are actually allowed haha.

What is that an unique experience you did that you will remember forever? Let me know!

Planning a multi-month Eurotrip. Give me your absolute best "off-the-beaten-path," high-adrenaline, or uniquely local experiences!

Hey everyone, (Male 25, mexican)

I’m planning a multi-month backpacking Eurotrip and I want to skip the generic tourist traps. I’m looking for unique, raw, or high-adrenaline experiences that define the core identity of each place.

To give you an idea of my vibe, my current wishlist includes: lap in Nürburgring, jumping into Munich’s freezing Eisbachwelle river current with locals, watching locals play chess in the Budapest thermal steam at 6 AM, watching a bull run in Pamplona, or hitting a wild party boat in Split.

I'm open to anything: epic hikes, epic activities, sleeping in bizarre locations, cliff jumping, or things that feel slightly illegal but are 100% allowed.

Here is my route (highly flexible if you have a hidden gem to suggest):

  • 🇵🇹 Portugal: Lisbon, Sintra
  • 🇪🇸 Spain: Madrid, Pamplona
  • 🇳🇱 Netherlands: Amsterdam, Zaanse Schans
  • 🇩🇪 Germany: Berlin, Munich
  • 🇨🇿 Czech Republic: Prague
  • 🇵🇱 Poland: Warsaw
  • 🇭🇺 Hungary: Budapest
  • 🇸🇮 Slovenia: Bled, Ljubljana, Piran
  • 🇭🇷 Croatia: Rovinj, Split, Dubrovnik
  • 🇧🇦 Bosnia: Mostar
  • 🇲🇪 Montenegro: Kotor

What is that one crazy, beautiful, or micro-adventure experience in these places that I’ll remember for the rest of my life?

Hit me with your best recommendations!
