Last sem my overall grade seemed oddly low. Asked subject coordinator and they forgot to add the grade of one of my assignments 💔
Like imagine how many people have their subject grade inputted wrong and just never know it. Probs in best practise to be cross-checking ur marks
The way they label their breakfasts is so inaccurate.
There have been times I've cross-checked something they've claimed is vegetarian and have found out it just isn't.
Similarly a lot of times they'll order food from places that are 100% Halal, confirmed by the venues, and just not label the food as halal on their weekly menus.
I don't mean to be too harsh, because I'm sure some people are just volunteers who might be tired and prone to mistakes, but these things legit take one google search to check. Obviously they don't need to cater to anyone's dietary reqs in the first place, but if they present themselves to, they should do it diligently.
Also, kinda sad for anyone who's Coeliac that they completely removed the Gluten-free option this sem.

Let me put clashes in my timetable!!! Half the time they don't clash because the classes don't run in the same weeks! By the time I apply for a TAF, the team tells me it's too late and there's nothing they can do. Yeah, it's too late because it takes them 10 days to get back to me (not their fault) and by then, the class I want to move into and "clashes" has its spot filled up by then!
I know office bearers do. Are all the positions we're voting on paid? How much do they get paid?
I don't think club execs get paid (but I imagine there's funding from UMSU to run the club?)
Tbh I'm curious abt all the politics in the first place. How do these people even get such lofty roles in the first place? Do they start with political clubs and then apply for bigger things like these positions?
