How do you deal with your tinnitus increasing?

My tinnitus has really started to bother me over the past two years. Every few months, I feel like the volume or the pitch increases.

I also wonder if it’s partly just my perception, because if the sound had actually been getting constantly louder for two years straight, I’d probably be kind of deaf by now. But honestly, I don’t know.

I have severe health anxiety (tinnitus is the worst thing that has ever happened to me) and mild visual snow.

I’m really struggling to stay positive because every time I think I have this under control, this fucking thing spikes again and the cycle starts all over.

Do you have any strategies or advice?

I'm wondering if this will ever stop or will keep increasing until I finally die.

And by the way, if you’re one of those users who’s going to tell me my life is over, I get it — there’s no need to add that negativity to this post too.

Thanks.
