If your goal is to make partner/stay in biglaw long term does the law school you went to matter once you are an associate?

How much does law school matter if you are trying to make partner. Could it be more impressive or help you network within the firm or find new clients?

For firms that have rotations for the first few years e.g Cravath and STB, which practice group should one start at?

Any ideas? Thank you. Maybe the easiest practice group to get the handle of things? Best one to start at for longevity at the firm and other factors you can think of.

Is attrition at Cravath higher? How can a ~500 attorney firm have an incoming summer class of 100+?
