Hello Fellow Rebels!

I have been a silent participant in this sub for years but I rarely comment unless it has to do specifically with the films. I never read the books. I saw the films when they premiered and have watched Catching Fire like 500 times in the last 13 years.

I recently decided to start reading the books and am on Catching Fire.

Please no one come in here and be nasty and downvote me for my inquiry. I am genuinely just curious about things and would like to pick your brains.

I tried looking into the history of the sub but couldnt find any threads pertaining to my question, so keep that in mind.

Has anyone ever considered that Bonnie and Twill might have been undercover agents/Capitol spies? It feels like they were waiting for Katniss and when she appeared, they were questioning her knowledge of District 13. Then conveniently, peacekeepers were waiting for her when she returned home. Wouldn't they know if ppl were hiding in those woods?

Id love to hear other perspectives but it just seems like they were plants.
