So I bought my 2010 Fairmont about a month ago. The HVAC system is16 years old.

For about a month, it has been not draining right and water is caught between my top flooring and subfloor. When you press on the top floor water comes up.

I’ve had a plumber come out, and he found zero pipe leaking anywhere. That narrows it down to the HVAC system.

I got a quote for a new HVAC system today and the absolute cheapest option they had and including install was $14,000. Does that sound correct, or does that seem excessive?
