I think I was shorted on my meds…

Hi everyone. I’m in a bit of a rut and I’m not sure anything can be done. I picked up my medication for the month on the 2nd and noticed immediately that not only was it in a much smaller bottle (about half the size), it appeared to be far less than my normal amount.
I told myself I was overanalyzing due to the different bottle as well as I go to a very reputable pharmacy (not CVS or Walgreens) and the quantity on the label checked out.
I am now halfway through the month and I am realizing I’m running out quickly - I take the same amount every day. I can take up to 4 pills of my meds for flare days and 3 is the average for me. I don’t take more.
I’m extremely stressed because it’s looking like I’ll run out rather early - possibly a whole week. I’m kicking myself for not counting it there or asking them to count it. I knew the second I looked at it that it didn’t look right and I still left. And I’ve heard so many stories of this happening to patients yet I didn’t listen to my gut.
I know it’s too late to do anything as we’re at the 17th but I’m so worried about running out and not being able to function for a whole week.
Any advice? Any ideas on how to approach it next time I pick up my meds? I don’t want to come across as a jerk by asking them to recount. I’ve had good experiences with them in the past and I have a positive relationship with the pharmacists. Mistakes happen but this is beyond anxiety-inducing.
Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

EDIT** I called them and the pharmacist told me the robot counts it and then the pharmacist counts it so it’s not them. Like someone mentioned, I don’t think they would admit if it was off. Really frustrating. The conversation lasted less than a minute and he was very final about it. I understand and I didn’t really expect a resolution. It’s on me - like I’ve been saying, I should’ve checked when I felt it was off. Perhaps some was taken as well as it being miscounted, I don’t know. But I’m just going to have to deal. Next time I will have them count it. And for those wondering I get an odd number of pills (less than 120) so that my flare days balance out. So I don’t usually have “extra” like you might be wondering. I hate this😭 but thanks to everyone who gave me advice🫶🏻
