Hi I need HELP. I made a fondant rainbow last night for a cake I'm doing tomorrow. It needs to leave here at 10 am for a photo shoot . I used a lot of CMC powder the fondant got stiff while working with it and I made the rainbow around 11.30 pm last night I finished... I checked it around 11 am it was still soft and sticky (wasn't sticky when I finish)... It started raining around 11 last night and all day today I believe that's why it's behaving so... If I had used gum paste would that have prevented this ? What can I do to salvage my rainbow? Or is it too risky to use this rainbow given the weather situation? should I use a cake topper rainbow instead as a substitute... Please advise
