Hey everyone,

I’m currently riding a gravel bike with gravel tires and I’m wondering how much of a difference you actually feel on normal roads compared to a proper road bike setup.

Is riding on asphalt with gravel tires still fast and comfortable, or do you clearly notice more rolling resistance and slower speed?

I mostly ride on the road, with only occasional gravel sections, so I’m thinking about switching to road tires (or maybe even a second wheelset) for my gravel bike.

Does it make a noticeable difference in speed, efficiency, and overall ride feel?
Would you recommend it, or is it not worth the hassle?
