Ragnvaldr's cannon future
I saw a discussion in a post that was removed, but I really want to keep the discussion. The post was questioning whether Ragn's S ending was cannon or not.
As we see in Osaa's intro, he goes into the dungeon and find archeological remains inside and outside the dungeon. Its said that in the archeologycal site, there are some documents in Bremen, maybe order from the Kaiser himself, and some notes with drawings of the items found. One of the items it's a cube.
That leaves the question: Ragn left the cube?
I have a few theories, but I want your opinion on them:
1- Ragn did leave with his cube, and the one we see at the archeologycal site was another one. We know from the Termina intro, that the cubes can be built (also, the ones we build in Termina intro have the GOTD symbom carved onto them)
1.1) Maybe the cave dwellers or some GODT devotees built a new one (from it's corpse maybe?)
1.2) The cube found by the archeologists was brought from outside.
2- Ragn left the cube in the dungeons.
2.1) He had no choice but to leave it. Maybe Enki went to void with the cube, and before he came back Ragn was already gone, or even had a fight with Enki over the cube.
2.2) he dropped or something idk
3- He left with the cube, but his ancestors couldn't keep it, and somehow was broght to the dungeons (by the new gods we see in Termina, maybe?)
We know that the cube Kaiser uses to build Logic has Vinushka's sygil, and not GOTD's. However, I believe the cube that the archeologists found is GOTD's.
It's said that Osaa feels a "vibe/aura" he never felt before while seeing the drawing of the cube, because of that I beleive it's not Vinushka's. Also in Osaa's intro we have the choice to learn more about Vinushka, we don't have this option with GOTD. So I feel like Osaa knew about Vinushka and had that feeling looking at the cube because he didn't know GOTD, if that makes sense.
In my written story of funger, Enki and Ragn have the cube and enter mahabre first and kill most of the new gods, Enki goes to the void and Ragn leaves with moonless, basic stuff. But now I just realised this Osaa's backstory stuff and now I really want to know what happened to the cube and what Ragn would've done.
Also in the end of my story, in a sort of epilogue, old Ragn finds a skin bible and says "good to see you, old friend", but now I have this doubt in my mind (like if 2.2 is the cannon, then he wouldn't be happy to see Enki's name, etc, etc)
Idk I want to make my written story as close to the cannon as possible, and also I love to nerd out about this game so yeah this is discussion is kinda of a big deal for me lol.
