This is something that's been on my mind. Before anyone says "stop being butthurt bro, everyone has a slur for everyone" it's not about that - - it's about how asymmetric the usage of golti has become. Whenever there are fights among any two south Indian groups they will only exchange those specific set of slurs that only the two parties know about.

Tamil vs Mallu -> Mallu (lmao) vs Pandi

Tamil vs Kannads -> Kundiga vs Kongas

Tamil vs Telugus -> Golti vs Sambar

But Telugu vs literally anybody else -> GOLTIIIIII.

Why? How did they win this cultural battle? Even north Indians on Twitter sometimes use golti to insult telugus....
