Looking for recommendations how to clean and preserve a mummified red fox.

First time trying to clean a whole skeleton with flesh still intact. I have read about people recommending maceration but I’m worried about the smell. It doesn’t smell right now. How far away can you smell it? When changing the water, how to you discard of the soup water? How long should the cleaning process take (17°C-10°C outside temp)?
