Enjoy the hate
Guys, we’ve always been a nothing team. Nobody didn’t think anything of our existence since the team’s conception (I know because I’ve been a fan since conception despite liking DC way more). Even a trophy couldn’t change that about us that much. We’re now the center of all the attention from powerhouse team’s fans (RCB and CSK) despite losing playoffs. That’s a win. For a few years nobody cared to tune in on our matches, let alone fans of other teams. Now, RCB vs SRH was the most viewed match in all of 2026 season so far. That’s a win. SRH was the 4th most viewed team in this season so far. That’s a win.
Ten years ago, had we been told we’d be doing as well as we’re doing right now, we all know we’d be very happy.
As far as all the hate is concerned, I’d say enjoy it. We’re not used to all the hate because we’ve never been the popular team. Those who now called our team irrelevant cared to search for our sub to say so. We matter and we’re now a more important part of the IPL dynamic than ever. Don’t give-in to hating our team because of all the noise. Be proud. Be arrogant. That’s the orange way.
