Medschoolguru (medschoolbros)MCAT prep first impressions after FL#1

I decided to go with medschoolguru for my 3 month MCAT prep (aiming for 8/15 test date). 7 years post graduating with biomed science B.S. Completing technical cert in Biotech next May and gaining a lot of useful research experience at a community college (YES- a community college! Unheard of right?) I have all the experiences needed, well rounded applicant.

ANYWAY- I just scored a 505 on my free diagnostic through them. It gives info about what you need to study more, how you compare to other test takers on the app, etc. I have taken the MCAT once before in 2019 (voided due to not being prepared causing panic attack; prepped using Princeton review books… DO NOT RECOMMEND) and the questions were reminiscent of an actual MCAT. I got the Q bank and high yield content review which has a lot of illustrations and simple explanations. The Q bank allows you to create your own tests. I plan on doing practice tests through AAMC after 2-3 weeks of studying w/ medschoolguru. My worst section was Chem/Phys (have some relearning to do) and best was CARS somehow.

Has anyone used medschoolguru for MCAT prep that can give me any tips to get the most out of it? … I am poor af. Need recs for free practice tests that are similar to the actual MCAT. I applied for fee assistance 🙏…

EDIT: This is NOT an ad! I’ve just been following medschoolbros since undergrad years ago, I did not pick my account name, and am not familiar with using Reddit. This is a genuine post not affiliated with medschoolbros company or materials. I’m just curious if anyone else is using their materials since I am using them.
