Yes Yes YES...BLUE

Ahhhh!!! I finally found some blue UG! And it didn't cost an arm and a leg!

I found this Cambridge #63 for $30. I knew that swirl meant it would light up. Not sure if the seller knew it was uranium. They had some things marked and priced up, but I also got a small UG Hazel Atlas fridgie for $10. πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ Anyway, I'm going to do a large photo dump haul post soon to share all the cool things I've come across.

Also...this is thier turquoise, near as I can tell. Meaning I found a super rare color from 1903. πŸ₯³

Holy hell...What did I find?!

This was a COMPLETE surprise. I'm walking through an antique store and flashing my light around (365 so I find all that tasty glaze and custard) and what should appear but these two "egg" cups. Tag said Czech Tango (?) Glass, so they had no idea what they had.

But honestly...neither do I. πŸ˜… I know they glow and they just blasted my radium dial clock out of the water in sievert count. But are these really "Czech" or "Tango"? Any info would be great! Thanks!

P.S. I paid $8.80 for both. YES, YOU READ THAT RIGHT: EIGHT DOLLARS AND EIGHTY CENTS. 🀯🀌πŸ₯³

OMG it's YUGE

Ufff, look what I found! A GIANT custard serving tray. 😍 Made by Ritter Company out of Rochester NY. This is the first I've seen from them. I assumed (and I believe tag said) this was McKee.

I can put all sorts of things on this! 😈 Now I just need to rearrange or get a new cabinet big enough. Orrrr maybe this finds a place on a table for regular use. πŸ˜…

Someone please stop me 😭

Guys...i think I doubled my collection essentially overnight. It's not a brag; I really need to slow down. But I love the glow SO MUCH. It's a problem...and well, I thought I'd find some commiseration here, among my people. πŸ˜…

So here are my recent acquisitions from within the past month. I found a couple glasses (Viking maybe?), and then found three more later to match the bigger of the two. Also!!! I found 3 goblets to match my Hazel Atlas set of bowl, cups, and saucers! There were also 3 cute little HA "sauce" cups. A Northwood vase or sooner. So.e plates by Jeanette, Fenton (yellow stretch), US Glass, Macbeth-Evans, Federal, and more. Fenton Poppy vase in green satin. A FLAWLESS US Glass mixing bowl. More bowls. 😁 A perfume bottle stopper. A Vaseline hobnail votive holder. 2 juicers. And some red cadmium plates, also possibly Viking.

I do have a couple questions about these. I'm not sure if anyone will know the answer.

I don't recognize the maker's mark on the ice bucket and Google Lens is no help. I've searched designs of makers it may be but to no avail. I also don't know who made the blue-green bowl but "Heisey Moongleam" keeps coming up even though the exact pattern is never there.

And...the first "Viking" glass (large one) is a darker green, has a cut foot, and is a bit thinner than the other 3. The 3 match each other. I'm guessing different years or possibly mold reuse?

Help me save this baby 😭

Hi all. I'm new here, and I joined to learn more about Siamese kitties because there's one lingering outside my apartment.

A few days ago this kitten showed up in addition to the few community cats I usually see. I was immediately struck by it, because you NEVER see those just wandering around. It keeps coming around for food but is very skittish. (The face photo was the closest it got. I had to take it with my front-facing camera because it ran when I would look at it 😭)

I am going to work on gaining its trust with food and treats and hope it lets me scoop it up and give it a good life. Is there anything I can do to make that process easier?

I Found Heaven. It's in Ohio.

I stopped by a new area with some antique stores and my bank account is now very sad. But my heart is happy, so I'm gonna call this trip a win. πŸ˜…

So first is the group photo. It was about $250 for all. Not pictured is an American Cabinet Co. white milk glass dental instrument tray and an old flint master salt. Those amounted to about $20 of the $250.

We have two Hall saucers (to help complete a set), a Shawnee Pottery glazed vase, Jeanette or McKee Pepper, 2 Northwood custard tumblers, Anchor pepper, 2 Anchor grease jars (10 DOLLARS A PIECE 🀯), McKee custard S&P, Macbeth-Evans charger (which will go with my salad and charger in that pattern) and MY LITTLE BO PEEP CUP!!! Finally! I found the red plate alone months ago. Found a set in rainbow. Could NOT find the red cup, and the UG gods smiled on me today. $5 and it was mine. 😭πŸ₯³πŸ₯°

I have a question if you made it this far...anyone know anything about the tumblers? I've seen a good bit of random Northwood custard out in the wild. This pattern doesn't match that. I've used Lens and searched the sites i know. The maker's mark looks legit to me, though one source (carnival to be fair) says it should be on the inside of the glass, not the outside bottom. It's nothing like grapes and cable...any help is appreciated.

(I've also been picking up all kinds of other glass-VASELINE🀀- that I haven't shared and I can drop pics if desired)

Oh...oh my...

Guys, I acquired what may be one of the most beautiful pieces in existence, IMO. The first pic is ambient, slightly overcast daylight. Second is 365nm (to avoid all the purple that 395 throws in my camera).

I believe it's a Cambridge. What I know for sure is the etching is spectacular and it will have pride of place among my collection.
