Do other top teams have this boom ball problem?

I primarily follow and watch NRG only so maybe I'm overanalysing them.

I found that Daniel and Beastmode are booming the ball into the opponent's third way too often. I've been noticing this since Boston in the 3v3s and saw this happen in the 2v2s as well for the duo.

I didn't see this happen a lot last year, and couple years ago this would actually work fine, boom the ball where there are no players and make a play off an awkward backboard or ceiling read for the opponent. This doesn't work at all now given how good the top teams in each region are with reads and backboard control.

With today's skill level, you're basically giving away the ball for free in a game where possession is everything.

Now my primary question: Is NRG the only team making this mistake? Are others also doing this and I just don't notice it? Or are others doing it rarely and in a better way where they don't get punished?

I want to squash some theories

Some people thing Opera won't fight in Babyls. They do not care about damaging the school whatsoever

In chapter 218 they destroyed school rooms just to mess around

https://preview.redd.it/j1phv66uzyah1.png?width=835&format=png&auto=webp&s=c71c2dfbd2a5a501b76f8da3213d89a26fcf80bd

The last time they went up against a dog they did not flinch

I'm not saying Opera will destory Narnia, but I'm saying Opera will not lose to Narnia either.

https://preview.redd.it/02h98qzo0zah1.png?width=835&format=png&auto=webp&s=c4fbfb24ad1fd25ed097170ecde55abf29ac77f3

Opera will not care about anything except Iruma's safety, Narnia will probably continue to fight dirty, using Iruma as a shield. While that was enough to stop Azz during the same little arc, I don't know if that will work on Opera so easily, maybe Balam even steps in with a Grand Cocoon to prevent Iruma from being used as a meat shield.

My prediction is that the fight will most likely be stopped by Sullivan, I don't think we'll see Opera lose and at the same time Opera won't stop for anyone else. Opera was ready to jump former 13 crown Amduscias Poro, someone probably much stronger than Narnia.

He has been waiting for this moment

This is not a jerk reaction, Opera has a strong resolve and he is not going to back down. Theoretically he could be on par with the 13 crowns given he's the SD of the Demon who can become Demon King.

The latest chapter is pretty much a play by play of what Iruma describes being worried about in Chapter 372

u/Educational_Sense_27 — 5 days ago

Iruma is not safe

I was a firm believer that Iruma is safe because he has 5/13 crowns strongly on his side, but perhaps he's not.

Now take into account my evidence, the deal Knightwalker had with Kushinashi, the human deportation act and Delkira's seal.

Perhaps Knightwalker's deal is the deportation act with Delkira's seal on it. The following two are totally possible:

 1. The act doesn't say humans will be sent back safely, but instead that they will be experimented on

 2. Henri is not aware of the existence of such an act

The combination of the above is something the other 13 dont necessarily have power over and will definitely not be prepared for. This act seems to be Narnia's Trump card and Delkira's seal would be the only reason for it to be a Trump card, given Narnia already knows the power of Iruma's allies.

Perhaps its Henri's destiny and time to now fight for a human to stay as Chief of Border Patrol, and perhaps the one who wanted the border to be erased was Delkira as he found a lover in the human world

Kalego Appreciation post

After all the hate I've been spewing for Kalego in this sub, this is overdue (I was busy with irl stuff XD)

From questioning Narnia's actions, preventing Iruma from self incrimination, standing his ground even after Narnia's allegations. He didnt shudder away even when Narnia called him a familiar

Side note : Also this pretty much confirms that either Knightwalker has instilled some insane hate into Narnia, or its just something passed down in the Naberius clan. This is not just personal for Narnia, its about the Naberius name.

Kalego has done everything that he can within his power. If Iruma self incriminates, then that's above Kalego's paygrade. Sullivan, Henri, Bachiko, Mephisto, Amu will have to step in there (though I have a follow up post coming on that)

All in all, this is some appreciation for Kalego who is no longer on fraud watch and to Nishi sensei for writing him well

Episode 13 Manga review

This one will be short cuz I got a little emotional with this one and can't write too much. The episode covered chapters 182 and 183, and pretty faithfully.

Young Shichiro translated pretty well into the anime

https://preview.redd.it/irwsucuiuu9h1.png?width=835&format=png&auto=webp&s=ec44f0b23d8b7d76815b7bb65d4c69db21bb0edf

Also, I'm just realizing this might have been a reference to their bloodline ability and not just a casual "parents always know when their kids lie"

Chapter 182 was a fair bit less than half the episode but covered the content very well and gave us a good amount of time for chapter 183

If I go on comparing chapter 183 I'll be putting every scene from the anime. The manga was good, but the anime episode was just much more flushed out.

Each gift from the misfits got its own scene and explanation and we also got birthdays for everyone

Side note with some spoilers:

I'm not talking about Sullivan, but the mobile phone

I don't want Iruma to self-incriminate. After Kalego finally found the courage to face Narcnia, and even made sure Iruma doesn't self incriminate. Kalego played this exactly as he should, please almighty phone protect Iruma again.

Another theory about the next arc

A lot of posts talking about what happens when Iruma gets sent back to the human world.

My counter argument, maybe he just can't be sent back. (Unless Baal gets Shura to intervene, but why would he? )

Also, I'm just pointing out stuff here, I personally believe we will never even get to a point where the deportation can be enacted. Either: Narnia is in kahoots with Baal and instead of sending Iruma to prison sends him to Baal's lab or going even a step back, OR all of Iruma's allies don't even let things get to such a position

Hurdle 1:

The Great Beyond Gate needs to be opened, Iruma is the only ones who has been able to open it, presumably since the Merize arc. Unless we reach a point where Iruma accepts a punishment to go back to the Netherworld, why would he open this gate?

https://preview.redd.it/7b2ctwlcqo8h1.png?width=836&format=png&auto=webp&s=29f4b018a2d3f912a8f5a24c6bccd0ac088646af

https://preview.redd.it/piuxhwxbqo8h1.png?width=836&format=png&auto=webp&s=fb7f1094c969192a4f725dcec3261b88300cd770

Hurdle 2:

The alternate dimension this door led to has collapsed, we have no reason to believe demon in the Netherworld is strong enough to reverse this

https://preview.redd.it/427wlpu6ro8h1.png?width=836&format=png&auto=webp&s=9ca9c98a23bb47edbd384643426a18f672519bde

Hurdle 3:

The door to the human world isn't always there. Now this hurdle is a little more shaky, because both times we've seen this space the door has been there, but Kushinashi sama said they don't know much about when the door appears and disappears. I think it appears when there's some kind of cosmic imbalance because of human being in the Netherworld and its time for a human to go back, but Iruma has already fought against it now and won. So perhaps the door is gone until Iruma wants to return himself?

https://preview.redd.it/liw5wpauro8h1.png?width=836&format=png&auto=webp&s=77bf5b56e36a2013ca414213c849b014d94a5b7d

Some side notes from these I realized only on a re-read

I generally thought Bachiko was a weaker crown, and felt it was pushed that she became a crown just for plot, but holy shit she's strong. She bypassed all the destiny human bullcrap that Iruma needed to open this door, she just shot an arrow through space. Keeping in mind my first point, this is a gate that hasn't been opened in a long time

https://preview.redd.it/uphshvczso8h1.png?width=836&format=png&auto=webp&s=316c53939dc558a947d5c45e174dcfd7fe618593

Second side note:
Iruma has the origin eyes here, didn't notice this either. I'm assuming there was discussion around this when this chapter originally came out though, just my first time noticing it. Maybe suggesting that Delkira is the origin of Iruma's bloodline and when channeling Delkira's mana/magic in this shot he's basically returning to origin

Just realized this is continuation of Azz's jealousy

As I often do, was re-reading some old hype arcs and I'm realising this panel is just Azz being jealous of Mephisto being around Iruma. Didn't notice Azz's expressions the first time I read this. He's trying to get rid of Mephisto and gets frantic as Mephisto declares himself the best guide

https://preview.redd.it/5sncm7efho8h1.png?width=835&format=png&auto=webp&s=c6c25141aff11f4e3a241bc76f5420d04be625e0

This will be a very interesting dynamic in the future whenever we reach the point when Iruma is consolidating allies in his push for the throne. I imagine Azz-azz being like Poro and Mephisto like Sullivan

Theory for Sullivan next arc

This theory is a bit of a stretch, but hopefully something fresh compared to everyone posting the same things again and again about Delkira being human or Narnia passing Iruma to Baal or what happens when Iruma gets deported

I want to point out something different.

Sullivan is not a Yodh. When we found out about this during the 13 crowns arc, from what Levi and Belial said, it wasn't just something that could be outright awarded to him, it was something that he had to get done.

Later we learned Scala is how you advance your rank beyond 5.

So maybe there's some loophole where Sullivan in his contract for adopting Iruma was able to declare integrating humans into the Netherworld as his scala, and Iruma as his Scala subject. Obviously there's the big gaping hole of who is monitoring his scala, he could rope in Henri.

There's also the negative side that I don't like to think about that which could make things worse for Iruma

 • Sullivan being "cursed"
 • Sullivan not being a Yodh

Episode 12 Manga Review

As I mentioned in my previous 2 reviews, this episode was going to cover chapters 179 and 180. There will be some discussion around very recent manga arcs. I will put those in spoiler blocks so this can be safe for anime watchers or people not caught up with the manga. Please point out in comments if I forget to spoiler block something

Also, lets forget all the seriousness in the manga and rejoice at the anime adaptation of these amazing chapters

This entire first sequence is anime only

https://preview.redd.it/mt3zios9hf8h1.png?width=2742&format=png&auto=webp&s=d9ba834c1da56283b2b0bda1bc30d2d85fd1e99c

>!All these scenes hit harder after the Merize arc, she is really all he has. Hope he will keep doing everything in his power to keep her happy (ie not letting anything happen to Iruma)!<

Probably the last time we're seeing this opening?

https://preview.redd.it/f8jtx0sxif8h1.png?width=3438&format=png&auto=webp&s=5736195492eb13bff57baf9f04b5adf33b3351f5

I kinda expect a new opening for the second half of the anime, because the current opening quite heavily leans into the music festival

I haven't been keeping track very well, when did Ameri switch to this new uniform?

https://preview.redd.it/3aea6v9mjf8h1.png?width=1922&format=png&auto=webp&s=4445b01b0076e67630718148a32869736480af7b

I thought this was her 3rd year uniform

The little touch about a bird delivering this is also an anime exclusive

https://preview.redd.it/6jl0tpfbkf8h1.png?width=866&format=png&auto=webp&s=263f5a0e13f5b9bda1311642353a171b19cb0f61

How has Henri not flipped off at the very existence of this image, nice little anime only world building though.

https://preview.redd.it/eg6kribolf8h1.png?width=2156&format=png&auto=webp&s=6f2914112068cd7aee4b071ef976c929efbac410

The entire sequence felt very touching in both depictions.

Damn, this is so different from the manga. Iruma got the aura, everyone parting way to give him a path

https://preview.redd.it/hv9ambndnf8h1.png?width=1886&format=png&auto=webp&s=60dd805070486b2eec4357d92687d31ed3c5788e

https://preview.redd.it/vidrirtdnf8h1.png?width=1894&format=png&auto=webp&s=8f13ac83297ddfc484896554f9f4ecffb3e02817

Really reminds you that, Iruma is pretty high up on the chain in terms of important people in the Netherworld. Manga spoiler -> >! How can Narnia ever actually do something to someone so so important!<

Scene is really good, but I feel bad for anime only watchers, it was completed spoiled in last week's episode. The hype when I read this was just insane, no one saw this coming

https://preview.redd.it/cbwa5lhunf8h1.png?width=838&format=png&auto=webp&s=3de11f0d501cf824d5a0276e2681734496597c09

I find this panel a bit funnier in the manga, Opera is so much more annoyed

https://preview.redd.it/0n34x60tof8h1.png?width=1320&format=png&auto=webp&s=ed45fb602d53f51df2e7b72fed8d6250695cc143

Also what's with the Opera eyebrow erasure

https://preview.redd.it/deqezxi4pf8h1.png?width=2478&format=png&auto=webp&s=5c6d7f8f702f70f8abdaf09e643e7f72f6a37399

Okay, really nice version of the panel now, I like it

https://preview.redd.it/sy08dbsapf8h1.png?width=3452&format=png&auto=webp&s=b3e4d1e18a38c7a50826dabf5fa358d9dd6398f4

Also, holy aura once again, didn't even realize all the music and dance stopped for his entry

https://preview.redd.it/tdndw3wopf8h1.png?width=1634&format=png&auto=webp&s=8c64e4bf4ec1c39e8887221c522af0c1fb7b1aa3

Rest of the episode is just pure peak, both in the anime and manga

This little extra detail in the manga with Sullivan, Henri and Opera eventually finding them, but I think the anime cut it out so that such a serious and heartwarming scene doesn't end with a gag

https://preview.redd.it/b85ltfb5rf8h1.png?width=1344&format=png&auto=webp&s=aa5f84b78567c22085ca95d46617c8713551a7f4

Also, I'm happy they included this scene in the Sukima inspite of the chapter re-ordering

https://preview.redd.it/2acoerabsf8h1.png?width=1282&format=png&auto=webp&s=a8e4fa35087b3d6d5b293a4587a6362ef1f9709a

What are the FifaE roster rules?

I see that USA has 5 people on the roster, where Atomic and Daniel did not play. Why aren't FK and Beastmode in here?

France doesn't have the former FifaE world champions Zen Vatira and Juicy, which seems very weird

Ring Analysis

Since there have been so many ring theories I decided to do an analysis of Iruma's entire day. I don't know how this is ending up formatted, I'm adding a caption to every panel and add final thoughts at the end

Ch 444 Ring is there

Ring is there

Ring seems to faintly be there, maybe they never forget to draw the ring

Ring is there in every panel, they never forget this huh

Ch 445, omg ring is in full focus this definitely means something

Ring is there

Still there

Stiiiil there

Wow do they pay attention to the ring being there

Hand is barely visible, but you can see the ring

OOPS, ring is gone

And its back, they're human too, they can make mistakes.

We're in chapter 446 Shiida is back, ring is still there, didn't dissapear while Shiida was gone

Hmmm, once again seems like they really want us to know the ring is still there

OOPS, ring is gone again

Chapter 447, and its back. They're human they can make misakes

Cannot tell if the ring is still there, if he's there wtf Alikred, why you no protect Iruboy

Ring is very clearly not there

Still very clearly not there

So what does this tell us?

 1. They can definitely make mistakes
 2. Past few chapters it seems like they wanted us to clearly see the ring is there, twice identical panels of them reaching out hands and ring very clearly visible

I was a non-believer, but now I think there's something here. Did Alikred run away in fear of being caught? Did he go to get someone? Is he going to reappear as Delkira and fucking turn the world upside down

Babyls Security

What a bold claim, doubled down on Babyls security. Maybe 0x2 is 0 kind of situation

They really do be letting anyone into the school, there should be some detection mechanism to know if an unauthorized entity has entered the premises. My school had better security than this

Babyls to them clearly just means the staffroom because that's where this detection mechanism has been set, because someone just walked in, found and killed a teacher and then our king healed the teacher and the guard dog and Gargoyle still didnt reach the scene.

Now I know its not just someone, its Narnia, maybe he would have bypassed any measures even if they existed, but why don't they at least have any

u/Educational_Sense_27 — 19 days ago

The lion, the witch, the audacity of this bitch

Its as a lot of us predicted, Narnia using the situation to attack Iruma

Iruma being revealed as human to save Shiida

Still the audacity of Narnia to just straight up just go after Iruma when his Fenrir got blasted by Shiida, bro does not fight fair for a second.

Where's this Kalego? Haven't seen him once
